Recent Donations

In late June, our council hosted a car show at Saint Charles. The proceeds from this event were donated to a pair of organizations. The first is Edna’ house, which is a shelter for women struggling with substance abuse. The second is the Cyrenians, which is a group at Saint Charles that makes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless. The photos below show our trustee Robert handing out checks to these groups.

Car Show Donations

One of our summer activities is to host a car show at Saint Charles in the church Parking lot. The proceeds from this event go to helping two different organizations. One is the Cyrenian group at Saint Charles, which makes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless. The second group is Edna’s house, which provides shelter for women recovering from substance abuse. Each group got a check of over $500, which was distributed by our worthy Trustee Robert.
